This is an excellent Stereo card of the view along Michigan Avenue in Chicago Illinois showing the Blackstone Hotel, the Tribune Building, and the Montgomery Ward & Wrigley Buildings. It is from a Keystone “Tour of the World” 100 card set (the cards are numbered 1 to 100) from the late 1920’s. The card is titled "Michigan Avenue North from Straus Tower, Chicago, Ill." and is numbered 96 with a Keystone negative number of 29134. This card is in excellent to near mint condition... and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
Domestic buyers (including Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, APO, or FPO) to prepay $8.50 shipping and handling for insured Priority Mail (mailed in a box) or $4.75 for First Class Mail (mailed in an envelope between two pieces of cardboard).
