Original Description:
Here's an old adjustable rabbeting plane without a maker name. I suspect it was made by one of the major manufacturers, perhaps Sargent, and sold under another name. The only lettering on it is "MADE IN USA." With a good honing and tuning it could be put right to work. All of its parts seem to move and adjust as they should. I only disassembled and cleaned it to ensure all of the parts are there and that they all work. All of the parts are there, and they all work. Has some wear in the... form of missing finish and light corrosion and pitting.
