Offered in this sale is a vintage English Paragon China plate that was made to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VI and Queen Elizabeth. It has a relief molded border. It is extensively marked on the back including Paragon By Appointment. A Perpetual Souvenir in Paragon China... to Commemorate the Coronation of Their Majesties King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Crowned Westminster Abbey May 12, 1937 Registered & Copyright Made in EnglandThe piece is extensively hand decorated, within the border it reads KING EDWARD VI AND QUEEN ELIZABETH. It measures roughly 9 5/8" in diameter. The condition of the plate is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration. In addition, there are no surface scratches of gilt wear. I have a number of other pieces from Paragon that I am posting for sale separately on Ebay over the coming days.
