2005 Chaparral
Item History & Price
2005 Chaparral 330 Signature, this boat hasn’t been used in 3 years, I purchased it in the spring hoping to have the time to use it, however work has been crazy busy and it never happened. I have decided to sell and have a swimming pool installed instead of using a boat. Here is what I did to get it ready. Both out drives were resealed and pressure tested. New gimbal bearings, 2 new trim pumps, new hot water heater, new engine hatch lift motor. Both motors start easy, idle smooth, run... nicely at 175 degrees. The previous owner had all the canvas replaced at a cost of $8000 and it was on the boat for 1 month and then taken off and stored flat with the boat being covered with a winter cover, all the canvas is in like new condition. The one rear seat had a couple of large tears and I was having it recovered, at the time I am writing this, the shop hasn’t completed it yet. This boat is equipped with a Venus bow thruster, however that electric motor needs to be replaced, boat is useable with this not being fixed. The screen on the radar was bad, and I sent it out to have it repaired, this will be included in the sale, while blocked in my driveway, I was able to start and run both motors, put drives into forward and reverse, use the water system and the vacuflush system, the AC system works, however the generator will not start, it hasn’t been looked at so I am not sure what it may need. I removed the VHF radio and stereo to replace with a higher end unit, but I never got to finish that. I live about 60 miles from the water, I am not going through water testing and the cost of moving the boat to water test, so bid accordingly, I have priced this far below anything else I have seen online. I believe the boat is completely usable as is, fix the last few little items and you will have equity in this boat right away. The hour meters don’t work, however the hours I believe are about 360, I believe we can hook a scan tool up to the ignition to verify this information.
