1970 Chris Craft Lancer Premier Sport
Item History & Price
It’s time to pass on our Chris Craft Lancer Premier to its next caretaker. This is a (nearly) original classic Lancer and one of the rarest fiberglass sport boats built by Chris Craft. This 1970 boat is documented as 1 of 25 built during the time Chris Craft transitioned from the 19’-23’ Commander hulls in 1969 to the 1971 Lancer, verified through Mariners’ Museum original documentation, America’s National Maritime Museum. What makes this boat so unique is that it is still po...wered by its original inboard 427A Ford engine with a Paragon V-drive.
The boat has not been restored and shows the “nicks and scratches” of years of family fun. This Lancer can be used for family fun or would be a perfect candidate for a classic restoration. We have lots of documentation for this boat including, Chris Craft sales literature, manuals, articles, promotional photos, etc. This Lancer includes a custom trailer built for the boat.
Current Mechanical Condition: The engine runs great but not while under load in the water (possible fuel/carburetor problem), not all gauges/lighting works, trailer hydraulic breaks require repair.
If you are interested in this boat and commit to buy, you will need to make an initial deposit through PayPal. Full payment will be required prior to any shipping arrangements. You will be responsible for all shipping. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
