This is a large beautiful Lalique Champs-Elysées Crystal centerpiece bowl. This iconic Lalique masterpiece was designed by Marc Lalique in 1951. He was inspired by the trees lining the most famous boulevard in Paris. Finely detailed oak leaves point outward from the center of the bowl. It is a gorgeous design that translates beautifully into both clear and frosted sparkling French 24% lead crystal. There are scratches on the bottom from handling, but no damage. Measures 18” long, 10...” wide, and 7 1/4” tall. It is a heavy quality piece. Handcrafted in the Alsace region of France where Lalique's workshops are located.This bowl is still an active item in the current Lalique catalog. You can find it at major department stores, or on the Lalique website priced at $3, 500 to $4200 plus tax. It is signed Lalique France in script on the bottom edge.
