Fire & Light Cobalt Blue Recycled Glass 11 " Wide - Lipped Bowl

This is for a cobalt blue wide-lipped round bowl, hand-made in California by Fire & Ice. The company was formed as a partnership with a recycling center in California by a group of local investors that wanted to develop a plan for using recycled glass. The group decided on a line of glass dinnerware and in December 1995, the first glass products were made in the Fire & Light furnaces. It is said that the world became a bit more luminous, slightly more colorful.....if only... for a short while. Sadly, F&L went out of business in 2019.
This bowl is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. The base shows wear from not having felt pads for protection. Typical to this product, it does have a few trapped bubbles.Measurements: 10 3/4" diameter x 3" high with a 1 3/4" lip.Never are these pieces light. This one weighs in at 8 lbs prior to packing.It is not signed.
