Sovereign Case
Crafted in a rich yellow 9ct Gold

A beautifully presented Sovereign case, circular shape having a machined turned design to the front & rear.Crafted in a rich yellow 9ct gold. The hinged body is easy to open by depressing a
button located on the top of the case.
Worn by a gentlemen of the era, in his waistcoatpocket, & fixed to a watch chain.
The spring mechanism to hold the full
size Sovereigns i...s in perfect working order,
as is the hinge & opening mechanism.
Stamped in several places 9.375 & hallmarked in
Birmingham about 1899. The hallmarks located inside
the cover have lost the finer details, over time.
With a play on light, I have taken the year letter as Z, which may not be correct.
