I just had a person contact me and ask me if there are any chips, cracks or if these glasses had ever been filed down. I am quite new to purchasing and reselling crystal and didn't know what "filing down" involved. After a google education I learned that it is a very common practice to preserve crystal that has a tiny chip on the edge. I had all three of these glasses heavily wrapped and taped up and already in the box but I decided that I better inspect them once more. In doing so I d...iscovered that one of the three glasses is maybe 1/64th of an inch taller than the other two. I would never have noticed without 'looking' but it is clear that two of the glasses have been filed/sanded down. I am reducing the price as a consequence.
