This is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Fleabites. NOTE: There are some rough spots on the finial and scratches on the base (See Picture With Pen). This is guaranteed to be an original at least 160 year old Horn Of Plenty sugar bowl. This features heavy, bright, and clear flint glass with a horn of plenty aka comet or peacock tail pattern. The finial has a paneled design. The base is scalloped and has a dimond pattern.
This measures 7 1/4" High x 4 1/4" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this sugar bowl.
The Horn of Plenty Sugar Bowl is featured in Early American Pattern Glass Collector's Identification & Price Guide 2ND Edition by Darryl Reilly and Bill Jenks on page 259.
