This is a beautiful glass, delecate and measuring approximately 4" tall. Made by Stevens and Williams in the late 19th century in their signature rock crystal, the curvilinear cutting and special details mark these glasses as masterworks; there are no modern equivalents. Engravers at the Stevens & Williams company included Joshua Hodgetts (1858 -1933). Frederick Carder (1864-1963) worked at Stevens & Williams between 1881-1902. Carder also founded Steuben Glass Works in Corning..., New York in 1903.These are beyond rare and true museum pieces. There are no defects, cracks or chips. Very minimal foot wear. There will be a slight difference in size as is common with handmade antique stemware.
