Incredible wall plaque by Stig Carlsson of Jie Gantofta Sweden.
This is a large, heavy piece depicting the parental pride of a new birth!
The clay, although very crude looking, is given depth by the thickness as well as the color. On the necks of both the parent and the hatchling, is a very gritty material that makes the design pop out.
On the back it reads, "335".
And below, "jie Gantofta Sweden Formiqivare(?) Stig Carlsson."
It measures 11 x 7.5.inches. Depth is .5 inc...hes.
There are no chips or cracks, but there is a drying crack on the back.
