Up for sale we have an UNBELIEVEABLE Set of 4 Wedgwood Ventnor W996 Footed Tea Cups and Saucers - 8 pieces total. With a Fruit design and Green Trim on this Bone China beauty. Each saucer has a 5 7/8" diameter. Each cup measures 5" across to end of handle.All 4 saucers in great shape overall! No chipping, some dust/dirt or stray glaze/coloring can be seen here and there if you get really close and some burnt glaze on the bottom, and some very very light, almost impercep...tible marks which may just be from light usage. Basically, they are in at least 8.5 or 9 out of 10 condition as is. Tea cups are very nice, but 3 out of 4 have some visible damage. One of them is pretty much perfect other than a little dirt under the handle. One of them has a chip in the base (see photo #6). Two of them have hairline fractures, but they are still watertight. I took photos 7&8 with lighting that emphasized the cracks - they're not quite as bad as they look in the photo - i think the one in photo #7 is really hard to see even when you're looking for it. And the crack in photo 8 is basically invisible on the inside of the cup. Items were sitting in a cupboard for over 30 years, and I'm not sure the last time they were used but I'm not an experienced porcelain cleaner, so I'm not giving them more than a mild cleaning with water.
