Charles Dickens Collectible Gay Fad Glasses on frosted Federal Glass.
The complete set of eight hand-decorated tumblers designed by "Gay Fad" in the 1950's Dickens series that features a separate full-color Charles Dickens character on each glass tumbler, with the name of each character also on the glass. Size: 5 3/8" tall, 2/3/4" across the top. Each has the Federal Glass F in a shield mark on the bottom. ...Dickens characters in this group: Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Fagin, Fat Boy, Oliver Twist, Mr. Pickwick, Mr Micawber, David Copperfield. These are all standing figures in the appropriate dress, with various backgrounds, all in applied colors on frosted glass. In fine condition. Sold together as a set of 8 tumblers. The "Fat Boy" glass has the Gay Fad sticker. Included is the original Gay Fad Description and cleaning instructions. RARE FIND.
