This is the most darling little repurposed handicraft project by a turn-of-the century lady. It is a small vase or rose bowl, made from a repurposed Lotus Ware piece in 1901, by a lady by the name of Mrs. Lolly(?) Reynolds as an Easter present for Miss Maggie Allard. It appears to be entirely hand-painted by Mrs. Reynolds, inside and out, in festive shades of mint green and pastel pink with gold accents. The inside of the vase is painted with a nest with a hatchling chick emerging. Mis...s. Allard's monogram appears on one side of the vase (AM) and on the other it says "An Easter Souvener" (spelled just like that). Provenance is painted on the bottom. The vase is 6" wide handle-to-handle, x 2.75" tall. We didn't find any condition issues and the paint still looks bright and fresh.
