Fenton Art Glass made Carnival Glass originally from 1907through to the late 1920s. In the 1970s, they revived the techniques of makingCarnival and re-introduced Carnival Glass items.Making carnival glass, which was created by many differentcompanies such as Dugan, Fenton, and Northwood involved a combination ofchemicals that were applied to the pressed glass before its firing. Theresulting swirly sheen that sometimes looks like an oil slickSize: The jarwith the lid measures 9” from the bottom, to the top of the finial. It is 5 ¾” around. Condition: This lovely purple carnival glass jar is in nice vintage condition.
