Here's six (6) low sherbets or champagne glasses, made by the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia. This is Fostoria's #5056 blank, called 'American Lady'; it was producing in this deep purple/amethyst color from 1948 until 1964.These glasses are about 4-1/8" tall at the edges, just under 3-3/4" across the top, and the foot's about 2-5/8" in diameter. Haven't measured the volume, but generally glasses of this type would hold about 6 ounces when filled to the... brim. All six of the glasses are in great shape with no issues.
