American Brilliant Period Large Cut Glass Covered Powder Box
This large and lovely American Brilliant Period cut glass powder jar or dresser box measures 5" across by 3"high with a lid and body that are both cut in vertical miters around the outside and are about the same depth.
The jar's lid is cut with etched intaglio daisies and feathery leaves.
The bottom is cut in a starburst whose rays reach to the ext...reme edge of the base.
There is some scuffing to the bottom and two tiny chips to the inside of the recessed lip.
Two tiny "pepper flakes" (tiny firing dots) in the well.
