Very large WW2 Era American Flag. Three and a half feet, by Six and a half feet. Cotton, Brass grommet #2. 48 Sewn Stars. This is from the box I inherited from a WW2 vet, Ed Taylor, (along with other WW2 papers, books, etc...) BUT, it is very clean for it's age and there are no markings. Also, his wife worked for the Department of Transportation in Washington during the war, so I don't know the origin. I am sure an expert can tell. It doe...s compare to other WW2 Army flags at the time. I tried to put close ups of the sewing style and thread, as well as the material. It has some discoloration, age, and stains, but no holes or tears. Smells musty. I put pictures that accurately depict the condition. It is beautiful. You can message with any questions.
