For sale here is a $5 Series 1899 Silver Certificate, which is a very popular and iconic large size currency type. This $5 Series 1899 is in solid VG condition and it has a LR corner tip off and there are bits of tape on the other 3 corners too. Obviously it was mounted at one time and the tape can most probably be removed with a little effort. The missing corner tip is another matter; since I did not get it with this bill, a replacement will need to be found. All that considered, sinc...e this type can be quite expensive in the higher grades, and this one will please many a collector who cannot wait until a better one comes along. At least the image of Sioux Chief Onepapa is quite bold and clear. This nice looking $5 1899 Silver Certificate is for sale without reserve.
