For some 20 years prior to Elvis' death, Homer Gilleland ("Mr. Gil of Memphis") was employed as The King's personal hairstylist. During that time, the small amounts of hair that Homer saved included some black, some brown,... and shades in-between as Elvis changed his hair color periodically.
The winner will receive the cufflinks plus a personal letter signed by Homer, stating that Elvis was given these cufflinks by a fan and he wore them while performing because he was always damaging or losing his real expensive ones on stage.
