This is an early 1940s vintage storage envelope containing a positive photo print and the original negative of several celebrities taken at the "American Room of the Hollywood Brown Derby" on Feb. 22, 1943. Including are the following three original items (each followed by condition): (1) Storage envelope, measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/2", and identifies the three ladies pictured including Mrs. George Burns [Gracie Allen], Mrs. Harry W. Martin [Louella O. Parsons], and Mrs. King... Kennedy [Louella's daughter Harriet Parsons] (tiny tear in the upper left, and minor soiling on the front); (2) The positive photo, glossy black & white, measures 4" x 5 1/8" and rubberstamped on the blank reverse is the credit: "Weissman Photos, Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles, Calif." (the front has a faint indentation but not a hole from a paper clip); and (3) Original black & white negative, measures 3 7/8" x 4 7/8", and stapled to the edge of the negative is an information sheet (there is one staple hole on one edge).
