Vintage 60s Laurel Floor Steel Lamp W/ Blown Glass Mushroom Shade Mid Century

Offering for sale is this vintage Laurel floor lamp. Circa 1960's. These lamps have become increasingly harder to find as time goes on. The round base and stem are steel, and the white mushroom-shaped glass shade that rests around the light socket at the top is hand blown glass from Italy.. The lamp still has its original label near the light socket and the blown glass label on the shade.(see photo's). The on/off rotary knob is located towards the top of the steel stem just bel...ow the ledge where the shade rests (see photo). This is an exceptionally beautiful example of mid century modern lighting at its best!
The lamp is approximately 57" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 51" high. The shade itself is approx. 6" tall x 13" wide. The round base has a diameter of approx. 10". The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The base and stem are in great shape. There are a few very faint superficial scratch marks here and there on the round base, but nothing that's really all that noticeable or that interferes with the display of the lamp. There are no dents, dings, breaks, repairs, rust, oxidation, etc. The glass shade is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. Cord looks original and should be inspected just in case. Being offered in as found condition. Fresh find.
