Nice Crisp Uncirculated or BetterFor your World Currency Collection-PCU1321DetailsDescription: A nice crisp uncirculated or better banknote from the Netherlands. This is the 23 March 1953 ten gulden. The banknote is blue, reddish brown and green with multicolored background. The front of the note shows the image of Hugo de Groot, the famous Dutch Jurist to the right, the scales of justice in the center and a whit...e circle to the left. The back has blue and green design with the scales of justice to the left, a globe in the center and the white circle to the right. The back also shows sail boats in the two bottom corners. This particular note has the serial number 045400 and is series 2LJ. It is dated 23 March 1953. The banknote has a water mark within the white circle depicting grapes surrounded by leaves. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: I would grade this banknote as crisp uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The note has no folds, no pinholes, no graffiti, no damage to the edges, no tears and no splits. It is clean with no staining and its corners are squared and intact with no observable rounding. The note has a small near the to left corner, which we believe is due to mishandling and not due to circulation. The note retains all of its original stiffness, crispiness and sheen.
