Antique German Putz/Erzgebirge miniature wooden farm toy horse. Circa 1900.
This early miniature horse toy has a carved wooden body covered with leather fur hide of some sort with tiny glass eyes and a painted open mouth, with a leather saddle and stirrups and measures
approximately 3" tall and 2.75" (84 mm) long from nose to tail. It has been very nicely carved and
modelled and is in good period condition with no damages apart from a missing tail and a missing stirrup o...n one side. It would display beautifully with other Putz farm toys from the same period. I also have Putz donkey listed so please see my other eBay items.
