This is an original, vintage campaign pin from 1932. It measures about .875 inch in diameter.
The pin was for the Democratic Presidential Candidate, Franklin Roosevelt, in the campaign of 1932. "The Friends of Franklin Roosevelt..." was a group from New York. It was the first organization to support the New York Governor's candidacy to be US President. Therefore, this button is considered the earliest of the FDR presidential campaign pins.
It was a lithographed pin, made by Bastian Bros. Co., Rochester, New York.
Good Condition: Printed somewhat off-center, has very light scratches, also has light scratches on back side; otherwise, clean and sharp (see pics).
