The present brooch pin or pendant depending how worn is a very elegant and sophisticated example from this period. Bows have always been a common theme throughout jewelry designs with various examples each illustrating a different style of bow or knot style.
The present example is especially interestin...g given its design which incorporates two different stone cuts, both brilliant round diamond cut stones and free flowing emerald cut stones giving this diamond creation a hanging and mobile effect as its user moves through every day fashion.Additionally, there are approximately 60 brilliant round diamond cut stones and 10 emerald cut stones which combine to equal a total diamond weight of approximately 4 carats.
Each stone is further set into a graduated pattern where the larger stones are placed on the outside and gradually reduce in size as they form the circular pattern to the bow's knot. It is also unique to point out the design elements how each stone is carefully placed at different depths of relief so that every stone can capture the light at any given position making this piece a total stunner when worn.
