Antique 17" German Kestner bisque doll with open/closed mouth and white space. Marked 7 1/2 and Made in Germany. She has wonderful set blue paperweight eyes with feathered brows. Her bisque is smooth and nice, she has no chips, cracks, or hairlines. She has her plaster pate still attached. Her wig is an antique blonde mohair tied in back, nice thick wig, some matting from age. Her chubby leather body looks original, it shows wear around the neck from inspecting the shoulder...-head for damage. She has some leather patching around her hip area. Her upper leather arms have darkened from age, her elbows swivel with bisque lower arms. Her bisque hands are nice, no damage to her nicely blushed fingers. Her cotton dress is antique and her under clothes look original. Socks look older, shoes are newer.
