Vintage WW2 Nurse Cape. 100% wool and custom made by Hospital Clothing Company in Philadelphia. This cape is in excellent condition. It is very dark blue/black on the outside with a red lining. Lettering is all stitched in gold. The letters "L.G.H" are embroidered on the collar, most likely standing for Lancaster General Hospital, as it is located in Philadelphia. The initials JLS are embroidered on the inside above the maker tag. The buttons on the front are gold as well, featuring 2 ...horses and an eagle on each.The name "Miss Smith" is patched on the inner right side of the cape, right below a small pocket.This is a wonderful historical piece from World War 2.
