I am selling a beautiful late 19th/early 20th century German musical mantel clock made by Junghans.
The clock is housed in a lovely walnut case which is also home to the small 4 1/2" disc symphonium music box movement.
Inside the front door are controls for the clock and music box.
There is a slide lever to set the music box to silent, to play on the hour or to play continually.
Below there is a lever to start the clock. Next to that is one to fine t...une the speed of the clock and finally a slide lever to control the speed of the music box.
The clock and music box are in very good working order with the 30 hour movement keeping very good time and lasting approximately 24 hours on a full wind and the comb of the music box having all of its teeth.
The walnut case is in excellent condition for its age, with only minor age related wear in places and a small amount of what appears to be paint on the top right corner.
