I am estimating the painting to be from the mid to late 19th century. This painting is in overall very good antique condition. Under a black light it shows no signs of paint loss or in-painting. Due to its age, there are some slight stretcher bars lines. I do not consid...er these to be minor blemishes, rather a testament to its honest history. Unframed the painting measures 12" in width x 16" in height and together with the original antique wooden frame it measures 14 1/2" x 18 1/2". The vintage frame is in overall good condition with some minor surface abrasions consistent with its age. Both the painting and frame are being sold in "as-is" condition.
