This is a Meissen large shallow bowl/plate with a intricate multi-leaf & central pebbles design. The classic 1st quality Meissen mark plus an impressed "45" (I believe, hard to read) is on the bottom. I believe this piece is from late 1800s or so. The bowl is 11 1/2 inches wide & about 2 inches at the deepest. As can be seen there is some wear to the gold accents & a very minute side chip (I think) to one of the points of a leaf (see last photograph). My low opening price r...eflects these very minor defects.
