Antique Link model 2E Nickelodeon.I acquired the Link about 20 years ago. I rebuilt all the bellows and replaced all the tubing and had the roll frame fully restored at a cost of $1600. As my hearing depreciated I compensated by installing a vacuum pump to assist the original pump-probably not needed. Other than that addition, it is all original. The case is in decent condition with some scuffs and mars and some separating at the base on the right side. Also on the right, the glas...s is cracked and there is a break in the clear glass on the left panel. I have tried to show these flaws in the pictures. It has been sitting unused for several years and though it plays, it should be reconditioned to get it to it's best and I've gotten too old and deaf to tackle the job. Consequently, I'm offering it "no reserve" at $3500 with a "buy it now " price of $5900. I have about 16 rolls playing about 8 songs each. Many are new re cuts unplayed or played only one time. These will be included in the buy it now price only. This includes the "roll changer". home made but works fine. Buyer will be responsible for shipping. I will assist as needed.Area code 860 if you call 354 number 0287, I will play it for you or you can inspect it on premisesI received an email from who , I believe, was a near buyer for this Link. Though he was not present, he claims the Link dropped over 8 feet while removing it from my basement . Had it dropped that far, there would be nothing left. However it did fall from the lift 2'-3' and the case damage that I show is from that fall. I found no damage to the mechanism . I did find a crack in the bottom board-which I reinforced with 3/4" plywood. And 2 castors were broken and need to be replaced. The case separation shown in the pictures is a result of that drop. He did make the point , that this incident should be mentioned. Had I thought it relevant, I would have done so.But I'll do so now.
