Antique English Regency Pink Sunderland Luster Teapot Lustre Pearlware Staffordshire 19th century
Antique 19th c. pink luster teapot decorated with a country house and park landscape scene.Offered is this beautiful example of early English soft paste porcelain. There are scenes of an English country house done in either early transfe...r or most likely the earlier bat print. Measures: Height with lid: 8-3/4”Handle to handle: 10-1/2”Width at widest point: 5-1/2”.Some interior staining which could probably be removed with a peroxide soak. Several cracks around pot rim measuring 3/4” by handle, 3/4” and 5/8” on rim right side, blue glaze pop interior right side, very fine 3/4” on edge of rim toward spout, and 2” feint body crack left side of pot by handle. Some nips can be felt on underside interior of bowl but very tiny. Nice early example.
