Original Description:
This is a rough, antique figural clock with a lot of good parts. It is 12" wide and 10 3/4" high. The dial has small chips and hairlines. The movement has a broken chime mainspring. Gears all look good and the escapement wheel clicks ahead when suspension bar is rocked. Movement back has the suspension spring but missing the bellstand and bell and the bell hammer & wire. Both mounting bars are good. The backplate has the Japy Freres marking... (photo 6). The 6" tall figure is a boy holding a sickle and bird nest with eggs in it. Photo 4 shows the broken leg part being held up to where it broke. Photo 5 shows the tin back leg that needs soldered on.
