Rare Arts & Crafts solid sterling silver sugar tongs. They are hallmarked for London 1887 with the makers marks being those of Hukin and Heath. Hukin and Heath at this time were producing pieces designed by Christopher Dresser, these have the characteristic textured finish seen on other Dresser pieces so may well be his design. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortionsand repairs. They measure 4 inches (10.5cms) long and weigh 22 grams. Super quality rar...e examples.
