This auction is for three small antique German bisque doll heads: One Simon Halbig 1078 head and two Armand Marseille 1894 heads. The Simon & Halbig 1078 head has with brown sleep eyes. The back of the head is marked 1078 Simon & Halbig S & H 3 Germany. There is a tinted hairline on the forehead (produced during manufacturing). Paint rubs on the doll’s right cheek, tip of the nose, and chin. Measures 3” tall from the top of the head to the bottom of the neck hole. Head circumferenc...e 6 1/2”, needs torso with neck diameter of about 1 1/16”.Both AM heads are marked 1894 AM 3/0 DEP but they are clearly different in size.The larger AM head has fixed brown eyes. It has a few mold flaws but no chips, cracks or hairline damage. Some missing flesh paint & eyelashes on the doll’s left lower eyelid inner corner. Measures 3” tall from the top of the head to the bottom of the neck hole. Head circumference 7”, needs torso with neck diameter of about 1 1/8”. The smaller AM head has fixed blue eyes. It has a hairline crack in the back of the head. Complexion is spotty primarily on the forehead. Measures 2 1/2” tall from the top of the head to the bottom of the neck hole. Head circumference 5 3/4”, needs torso with neck diameter of about 1”.
