Hello, Up for auction:    This is for a Stanley No. 1 wood plane.  I do not know a lot about this, but I've handled number 1's before.  This was found at an estate auction here in Illinois.  It was sitting in a box of other tools on a hayrack.  The condition, overall, looks good to me.  It was full of wood shavings and was simply put back in the tool chest when it was last used.  there are scuffs and scrapes.  There is a chipped ha...ndle.  Appears to have much of the japanning and some light surface rust.  I see a small nick in the blade.  The handle has a very slight wiggle.  There is a raised "B" on the frog.  It could use a good cleaning.  I've simply wiped off some dirt and wood shavings.  This is exactly as I found it. Length is 5 1/2" width is 1 1/2".  The blade is 1 1/4" wide. This is selling as-is.  I am not an expert.  I've not taken this all the way apart.  If you need additional photos, please let me know.  I do not have a buy it now price.         Please e-mail any questions or concerns, and I will promptly reply.  I welcome any comments you may have.Additional photos are always available upon request.  I accept PayPal, please.Shipping>>>USPS First Class Mail.  I always ship safely and quickly and combine items to save on shipping costs.  Illinois Residents must add 7% sales tax to purchase price.    Thank You!
