This auction is for a HUGE antique Limoges Haviland & Co (I believe due to the mark), heavily enameled scenic vase, depicting a winged cherub or putti riding a fish with bubbles and spray from the churning water. Absolutely FABULOUS. This piece is most definitely French and dates to the 1890s era. There are no chips, cracks or repairs that I can see, other than a nick in the glaze (doesn't appear to affect the pottery at all) at the very bottom edge. No harm..., but wanted to mention for accuracy. I have a pair of these vases and will list the other one separately. Each vase is 15" in height and about 9 1/2" across at the widest point. The colors are fabulous and the enamel is heavily applied, so loads of texture. RARE and totally amazing! The pair is about $130 to ship in the US. The light is shining off some of the enamel because it is so thick, there are no white spots on his face or on the vase that I can see.
