French Art Deco Club Chair (aka smoking chair)Early 1900’s all leather beautiful patina European Club chair. Has some wear and tear but the patina is incredible. I have tried to show as much detail (good and bad) on the pictures. I have had this chair for about 20 years in my various offices over the years. It is ALWAYS the topic of conversation. I never let anybody sit in it because I consider it a work of art. It is pretty stout however and could be sat in. If one were to use... it as a functional piece, I would recommend getting the springs re-tied probably. It is in my office now in Bakersfield, CA and you can view it by appointment. Notice the exquisite rounded back piece. Find one of those on the fancy French sites selling these babies—I haven’t seen one yet!! This is a chair that you will have for the rest of your life and your friends and acquaintances will be amazed. I hate to see it go but personal reasons prevail.
