This is a vintage amber bead necklace with a silver clasp and spacer beads. The silver is not marked that I can see so I don't know if it's sterling or not. The silver beads appear to be hand made as does the clasp. The amber beads are not uniform and the center semi-clear one is about the largest at 7/8" long by 1/2" deep and the total weight is 59 grams. The first picture shows the color best, at least on my monitor, as it was taken in natural light and the 5th picture is with the su...n shining behind it. The center bead looks like there are lines in it so I don't know if they're fractures or natural inclusions. There are also a few small nicks around the edges or holes that are best shown in the 6th and 7th photos. This was purchased out of an estate and I was told it was bought overseas but I have limited knowledge of amber so I am unsure of the area. I would still consider the condition to be good/very good with minor wear and it may need to be restrung but seems sturdy as it is. Being sold as found.
