A superb quality, really unusual antique English, solid 18 carat gold five-band ring, dating from the Art Deco period. Set into white gold channels are rows of genuine non-heat-treated natural sapphires, emeralds, rubies and sparkling white old mine-cut diamonds, its five bands are joined at the back to make one solid ring. It’s understated but gets better the closer you get - the detail and Deco design make it completely enthralling! It dates from around 1920 and is in very goo...d, fully wearable condition, with a few nicks/chips to stones and evidence of having been adjusted at some point in the past as the back of the band is slightly untidy and the channels don't quite match up perfectly. It weighs 6.8 grams, its ring size is 7.75 US / P UK - resizeable, and measures 16 x 11 mm across the head.
