Vintage German doll by Edi. Made in Western Germany. Ca. 1940/50's. Measures approximately 14 1/2 inches tall. Retains her original hangtag but no other maker's marks were found. Wearing her original costume and hat. Non-working talking mechanism in her torso. Working sleep eyes. Wig with long braids. Made of hard or rigid plastic. From a long time UFDC doll collector's estate. Adorable expression!!Condition: Overall very good condition but she ...could use restringing due to looseness, Good color, no damage, non-working crier, some fray to hat ribbon edges, hair is missing hair ribbons and has a few fly aways, no other accessories, if not shown, odor free, clean.
