Simply darling antique German bisque head character baby. Incised ~ JDK/ Made in "7" Germany ~. She is 11" in length. Solid dome bisque head with molded and light feather stroked brown hair, deep blue sleep eyes with painted upper and lower lashes. Full rosy red cheeks and a happy smile on the open closed mouth showing the tongue. Back of the neck has the markings. There is a couple of dark dots on the hair and as photo shows, she has 3 surface flakes/chips to the bisque on the neck ed...ge. Faint cheek rub to left cheek. Original spring holds original 5 piece bent limbed baby body to the head. Body retains the original paint, finger lines and finish. It shows light wear, more so on the finger tips. A composition chip on one finger and a thumb. A couple of small cracks in the composition on the torso. This little darlin' is dressed in an antique light weight cotton dress with lovely delicate lace edging and insertion lace with deep yellow silk ribbon. Underneath is worn an antique cotton slip with laced neck edge and older knit sock/booties. She's adorable. Thanks for looking. OVERSEAS BUYERS, please message me before bidding.
