This item is an antique vintage hickory shaft right handed antique 36 3/4" iron. It is a lined face wide flanged sole Mashie. Marked The Wilsonian on the back. The head is clean and not all rusted but does have the expected play nicks and dings. Also has some discoloration. Please look at the many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old Wilson decal marked hickory. It is straight, I see no cracks and it h...as some play at the hosel (always re-set heads prior to play). The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in poor vintage condition with tape at the top and bottom. 33* loft (hard to find loft) and a C 4 swingweight for play. If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage (already done on this club). These old hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball. Shipping in the US is calculated for this item and based on a 2 pound box. The closer you are to me in NC (27712 zip) the less shipping will be. That is the way shipping works as it costs me more to ship a greater distance with all the carriers. I do ship pretty much worldwide but shipping is a lot more to foreign locations and is also calculated.
