ANTIQUE PYRENE FOAM FIRE EXTINGUISHER ON STEEL WHEELS is what I'm offering you.The pictures really tell the story on this salvaged original condition piece of history. I say original condition because in the very few areas it is losing it's paint there is no other layer of paint under it, you will see in the pictures it is raw steel under it. I think that says original condition, you look at the pictures and make your own judgement. This piece remained in it's original firehouse until ...the 84 year old chief retired and left the house. He took this home with him for the rest of his life and sold it when he was 87, a few months before he passed away.The fellow I got it from owned it for 12 years. I'm the third owner you can be number four.It has all it's tags in place, what appears to be the original hose and nozzle, the wrench that came with it, wooden handle still in place and very well worn, and a pair of 49 inch steel wheels in superb condition with embossed hub covers.It stands 60" tall to top of the handle and is approximately 30" wide outside to outside at the hubs. I attempted to get readable photo's of all the tags and labels. You will see even the label on the hose is still there telling you what kind it is. I consider it a privilege to own this and be able to pass it to someone who will preserve it for another century to come. I'm offering local pick up only for this. I will however secure it to a pallet for pick up by a trucking company of your choice and would also stretch wrap it to protect it from scratching in transit for cost of materials.
