This company was founded in Paris in 1845. The company was known for manufacturing faithful, high quality reproductions of Chinese Famille Rose, Japanese Imari, as well as Worcester, Chelsea, Sevres and Meissen porcelain from the mid 18th century to the early 19th century. Included in this set are two perfume or cologne bottles and a matching trinket box.
Each perfume bottle stands approximately 5-1/2" in height to the tops of the stoppers. They measure approximately 2" across each side.
The square trinket box stands 2-5/8" in height on four gilded feet, and measures 3" across each side.
The white porcelain is decorated with multi colored flowers, purple "fish scales", and gold trim.
There are no chips, cracks or crazing. Paint colors are excellent, minor age-related wear to gold trim around the rim of the box's lid from handling, and on one of the feet. The bottles are clean inside.
