Original Description:
Up for auction is a folk art painted antique sadd iron with Pennsylvania style tulips, flowers and birds recently found at auction in the Lancaster County PA area.  It is found in good used condition.  Embossed star.  Varnished for protection.  Wonderful folky design.  Paint would be 30s 40s vintage best guess.  Some minor losses to the paint but otherwise good condition.  Unsigned unmarked.  Very heavy.
