Edwardian 9ct Gold Turquoise Cabochon set Ring c1906UK Ring Size 'J 1/2', or US Ring Size '5'
A stunning Edwardian 9ct Gold Turquoise Cabochon set Ring dating to 1906, which is set with five Graduated Cabochon-cut Turquoise Gemstones (please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item's description).
This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 2.1 grams, is so typically Edwardian in style with Chevron Detail to the Shoulders and the P...lain Tapered Band complementing the simplicity of the grain set Pierced Boat Setting. As shown this fine quality ring is stamped with a full British Hallmark confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold and that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1906.
Overall the ring is in great condition with wear commensurate with age - the shank has been re-sized historically and one of the Turquoise gems has suffered a small chip to the underside, which in my opinion doesn't warrant replacing the stone (as I prefer to keep antique pieces original).
The ring is sized as a UK Ring Size 'J 1/2', which equates to a US Ring Size '5' - as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i.eit is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gaugedepending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring whenworn.
In summary, this is a stunning Edwardian 9ct Gold Turquoise set Ring dating to c1906 - it is quite simply sublime.
