Here's a very early, small-bodied 3-hook Pflueger Neverfail Underwater Minnow in rainbow. It is as-found in a pre-1910 wood trade box from Shapleigh Hardware of St. Louis, Missouri. Box label is marked RAINBOW but is badly worn and portions of text at bottom are illegible or just gone (see closeup photos for condition). Lure has hand-painted gills and unmarked props, with Pflueger's early see-thru clip hook hardware.
